Week 3 What I Am Learning & Quotes

What I Am Learning- What are you looking forward to learning and experiencing? What did you learn from the readings and videos this week?       Every talk and video I watched during this week seemed to revolve around the concept of integrity and being honest with your fellow man.   There is little room for error when you work hard as well as have Christ-like qualities.   Your company or business will stand out more the more effort you show and the more you put into the products that you are selling, especially if you stand by the craftsmanship of the product and keep your customers happy.   In Sherrie dues talk, she had two wonderful quotes that have resonated with me since I've read them: "Your word is who you are." " Integrity is the keystone that holds every organization together."  The walls will eventually crumble and people will begin to see the cracks in them the more you show ungodly characteristics.         Finally, I e...

Week 2 Entrepreneurial Journal

What are you looking forward to achieving and experiencing?  I am looking forward to experiencing a life filled with love and happiness surrounded by my family. They are the reason I get out of bed, and they motivate me to become a better person.  I want to be my best for them.  I look forward to seeing them graduate, and go on missions, and attend college.  Temple marriage, and creating their own families!  This will be an amazing legacy and accomplishment.  I look forward to helping my husband set up his practice and manage it, while he improves the lives of his patients.  What did you learn from the readings and videos this week? We shouldn't  let a brick wall stop us from achieving our goals. We can always find ways around roadblocks.   We should continue experimenting as long as it takes to get the results that we want.  I particularly enjoyed reading in The Ministry of Business book when he wrote about a husband and wife w...

What I Am Learning

My greatest accomplishment thus far in life is that of being a mom.  I have loved being there every step of the way while my children have grown and progressed into the wonderful kids they are today.   Being there to see them as they are figuring out their lives and reaching their potentials has brought me tremendous joy.   I have been blessed to be a stay at home mom throughout their lives.  I guess you could say that seeing them succeed has taken over my identity.  I'm not sure I know how to be anything but a wife and a mom. I am greatful for the opportunity this class will bring me as I will be able to find out who I am and discover my worth during this life.  Although I admit to being apprehensive, since change for me is hard to grasp.  I look forward to getting to know me better, especially by learning what I am all about.  Making goals and figuring out my gifts will be a journey in itself.   I love the quote by Charles Noble that sa...

Charles Noble:  First we make our habits, then our habits make us . Bill Gates;  The most meaningful way to differentiate your company from another company,The best way to put distance between you and the crowd, is to do an outstanding job with the information.  So while the view ahead may be foggy, there’s plenty you can do, right now, to forge ahead.
